Spring is here!!! Time to breathe in all the pollen. I so wish this wasn't a true statement lol but at least it's time to drop the layers. One thing I do love about the Spring is still being able to wear long sleeves. I'm sometimes a sucker for sleeves and being able to mix it in with some Spring style is just a plus.
I had so much fun wearing this look being out on the town in Greenville. I felt elevated, but still comfortable enough to have a good time and feel good doing it. I took a simple work staple (the white collard button down) and turned it into a top ready to be styled for a casual affair. Nothing too major but everything effortless about this look.

When doing a tie-up front I tend to like a high waist pant or skirt to offset the crop style. These pants are perfect for the elevated look I was going for! They are a type flare capri called culottes and I'm honestly obsessed with the whole idea.
As a woman transitioning from younger adult/college style into working professional/late twenties style, I find myself buying and or re-using a lot of pieces that I would consider to be staples. (I'll touch more on what a staple is in another post!)
Nonetheless, wearing what makes you feel good is always the motive, NO MATTER THE AGE!
Share with me your fave thing to pair a tie-up top with, in the comments.
I want to hear from you!

Such a cute outfit and I love the color of those culottes. I've been noticing a trend with the color of clothing that I've been purchasing lately. I've been leaning more towards marigolds, rusts, and rusty reds.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love a silk blouse I can tie up. I can usually score plenty for no more than $3-5 while thrifting. :)
Girl, the same! They're so in right now, plus I'm all for neutral tones/hues!
DeleteI have to try thrifting soon, I've known of a lot of people to find some pretty cute pieces while doing it!
